Getting to that time of year where we can start to see the teams we will be facing next season. Obviously we don't know what league we will be in yet but we can see the confirmed teams so far for both.
NLS Confirmed Teams for 26/27 so far:
Dagenham & Redbridge
AFC Totton
Tonbridge Angels
Horsham
Slough Town
Hampton & Richmond Borough
Farnborough
Walton & Hersham (Southern Prem winners)
Folkestone Invicta (Isthmian Prem winners)
Truro City (Relegated from NL)
Braintree Town (Relegated from NL)*
Playoff places for both leagues are basically set as well, so we will see one of Gloucester, Farnham, Poole, Berkhamstead or Sholing from the Southern, and one of Aveley, Billericay, Brentwood, Chatham or Dartford from the Isthmian.
Will be interesting to see what league Gloucester go in if they win the Southern League playoffs. Recently have been in the NLN but they could switch with Braintree.

Worthing likely to be added to this list, as well as either AFC Fylde or South Shields. Still not clear who will be coming down from League Two but Barrow and Harrogate Town are starting to get left behind.
@calvertskans 10th move in 6 years, will Spenny release him as well after 1 season? Lets see. On a positive note at least he is finally moving North.

Walton and Hersham in a spot of bother it sounds like
The Walton & Hersham fans are going to do a protest (boycott of food and drink inside the ground) for their game against us later this month - for the very reason that the football club don't make anything from the f&b
Worst case scenario is they stink the league out and go back down to step 3. Not the end of the world for a club of their size.
A lot less of a situation that what Ebbsfleet find themselves in.

One game in and already clubs are releasing statements about the behaviours of young fans. First up is Tonbridge condemning their own fans for letting of flares, causing criminal damage and using inappropriate language.
Although they are step 3 now, Lewes were online moaning about Enfield fans yesterday.
These clubs pay for professional licensed security staff so why don't they deal with any issues at the time rather than moaning about it from behind a keyboard well after the event!
I don't want dickhead behaviour any more than the next person,, but the days on non league only being of interest to a handful of elderly men who bring their dog and are more interested in the real ale selection in the clubhouse are long gone.
With the sort of attendances that clubs get these days, they should be putting resources into reasonable levels of crowd management. Youngsters will otherwise see it as a soft touch.

@dorking-eagle Exactly. We do that rather well these days. The segregation after the match, and Police, and stewards was pretty impressive, keeping both sets of fans (including a few who were out for a little bother) well apart.
Dover Tonbridge is fully segregated with no away fans under 18 allowed entry unless accompanied by an adult and id will be required. Also an increase in security for the game
I think a lot of those Kent “derby” games will be like that this season
Fingers crossed we dont see too many segregated aways bar those that already implement it ie Torquay, Dagenham, Ebbsfleet etc
@hemelwanderer Yep. Slough as a real pain, as was Dover, although tbf I've good memories of that one for some reason, old school away end, roof for noise and a hardcore midweek Wanderers following. Just the one mile round walk to get to the away end 🤣
