Fixtures for the 25/26 NLS season are released tomorrow at 1pm.

Who does everyone think we will get first up? Who would everyone want first up?

Also, predictions on the Xmas/New Year and Easter double header combo?

@calvertskans Haha yea - thinking how I might combine that with returning from a trip to France 🤣

We appear to be playing Tonbridge 3 times!

By road leaving Dorking at 4pm you're looking at 2.5 hours to Dover I think (or thereabouts)

it’s getting enough people interested to run a coach there too

Indeed.

I don't know what the coach arrangements are going to look like for next season.

Not unreasonably, if people can car share they do so as a full car works out cheaper than coach travel

Similarly for a few nearest games people like the train (Worthing, Farnborough)

But of course some places are a PITA for train travel (Tonbridge a huge walk from the station IIRC)

I imagine I will use a mixture of my own car and coach/minibus travel depending on multiple factors. I don't envy the club in trying to help everyone, but not make a loss as well.

It is a superb set of fixtures for us. You want to avoid newly promoted teams early as well as the newly relegated teams.

We have 6 winnable games in August. Our first really tough game on paper comes on 20th September on game 9 vs Dagenham. We have all seen their signings and see they are serious! But that is an assumption at this point.

If you want to hit the game running and get points on the board, this is exactly what we need to get that 1st spot.

So long as the coaching staff do not end up causing unnecessary injuries through too much high intensity work, we have a good shot of starting the season in the top 2 after 10 games. We have the right age profile, so hopefully they do better this time around and we don't have everyone injured 4 games in?

After the first 10 games are done then we are into the real season, and new players will be coming into all the teams. That is too far ahead to predict.

I am happy with an away trip to start, home on Boxing Day (for the 10th year running or whatever it is!), and Torquay away on a Saturday again.

The midweeks at Hornchurch, Enfield and Dover in particular are a bit of a pain, but hopefully there is at least a minibus running for those as I am not a massive fan of driving home after night games.

Worthing and Eastbourne aways on Tuesday nights aren't too bad journeys compared to those first three above which involve the M25

I'm hoping to go to a number of games this season, when they don't clash with a Crawley game i am going to, including a few teams i have not seen before. Won't be able to go to either of the Horsham games as they clash with Crawley  games.
